Our in-house licensed finishing booth sets Mekkelek apart as one of the Triangle’s few specialty shops capable of delivering high-performance finishes at a commercial standard. We specialize in catalyzed conversion varnishes, clear and pigmented coatings, stains, glazes, and color-matched paints, achieving consistent results across wood, MDF, and veneers. Open-grain species like oak are expertly prepped with pore filling for smooth finishes, while painted cabinetry receives meticulous edge preparation. We provide finishing not only for our own builds but also as a white-label service for other cabinet makers and millwork firms.
